Re-Engage in our Communities

What we do

What we do with the Military Veteran community.  Military Veterans often struggle to adjust to civilian life, be that after combat or not.  You are trained to join the military and adopt the values and behaviours of a niche world.  Nobody is trained to become a civilian, it is something most people just evolve into.  Some with more success than others.  The military community is not alone in struggling to adjust after living a niche life, professional sports performers suffer similar problems with adapting to their "new life."  We seek to help with this adaptation and also to make use of the unique experiences and strengths that military life develops to engage with others within the community and assist with them achieving their potential.

What we do with Young People.  Those young people who might find themselves at risk of being exploited by criminal influences for whatever reason, are the focus of our "connecting" different parties together in a bid to protect our future generation from falling prey to negative influences.  Parents, education, sport, employers, the Police, all have a role to play in how they live alongside and influence the way that British Youth develops.   The only actions we all undertake that have any relevance are those that directly impact upon another person.  It is up to us to ensure that those actions have a positive impact.  Such actions will last forever in the memory of the person affected, and have genuine meaning, much more than transient success on the sports pitch, or in the classroom, or in employment.

What we do with YOU!  Re-Engage is about interpersonal skills, leadership, behaviours, and values.  We can all get better at what we do, and how we do it.  Slipping into easy bad habits that inhibit performance, achievement and growth is what we seek to guard against.  Done the right way lives can be led without limits, growth can continue forever, every really CAN be a school day.  This is a mindset and at its core this mindset is about never accepting that you have reached your limit.
